Round 1 Hack connects with numerous jabs to the face of Anderson. Hack feints a takedown attempt and connects with a left hook dropping Aaron. Hack dives into guard. Martin knocks the wind out of Aaron Anderson with a strong elbow strike to the abdomen. Two large hammerfists forces Aaron to attempt to shift away from Hack which give Hack the opportunity to move to half guard. Martin wraps the arm of Anderson behind his back and traps it. Martin pounds away with shots to the face. Aaron Anderson tries to slip his leg out to get full guard, but is having difficulty. Aaron is able to work a leg through from the bottom to attain full guard. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Anderson is staggered by a jab to the chin. Hack narrowly dodges a cross from Anderson, but falls catching him in his guard. Hack is almost caught in a omoplata but is able to work his way back to guard. Aaron Anderson distracts Hack Martin with some peppering shots. Aaron Anderson then isolates a leg and falls back into a achilles lock. Hack Martin is able to force his way out of it but gives up half guard in the ensuing scramble. Hack Martin tries to slip his leg out to get full guard, but is having difficulty. Anderson attempts to sink a neck crank from half guard. It does not appear to be tight enough as Hack Martin gives a thumbs up to the referee until he finally struggles out. Hack Martin is able to work a leg through from the bottom to attain full guard. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Hack connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Anderson. Anderson takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Anderson is staggered by a jab to the chin. Hack dives in for a takedown but the momentum of the attempt ends in a scramble back to their feet. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Hack stuffs a shot from Anderson and strikes two solid knees to his skull. Anderson is stunned and Hack takes mount with in a quick scramble. Round 3 comes to a close.
