Round 1
Ruy is met with a hook cross combo that staggers him. Amangeldy explodes with a flurry of punches. Ruy is then thrown to the floor. Taza stands over "La Cobija", works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. "La Cobija" is able to grab an arm and pull Taza into his guard. Amangeldy drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. "The Tazamanian Devil" takes advantage of a mental laps from Cardenas and moves into full mount. "La Cobija" attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Ruy gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Taza attempts to lock in a rear naked choke, but Ruy rolls into to mount to cleverly avoid it. Cardenas pulls his leg out from under Amangeldy and gets back to half guard. Round 1 is finished.

Round 2
"The Tazamanian Devil" hoists up Cardenas in the air for a slam but Cardenas makes himself too heavy and gets his feet back to the ground. Taza Amangeldy narrowly dodges a cross from Ruy Cardenas, but falls catching him in his guard. Taza lands a stiff elbow while on his back. Ruy Cardenas presses the action while in the guard, but Amangeldy is able to switch him into mount. Ruy shifts his head and hips to keep Taza Amangeldy off balance and unable to land strikes. Taza Amangeldy secures his position. The round comes to an end.

Round 3
Ruy Cardenas is brought to his back by a well executed takedown from "The Tazamanian Devil". "The Tazamanian Devil" now has side control. Taza Amangeldy slides his knee across the body of "La Cobija" and takes full mount. Amangeldy punishes Cardenas with a series of strikes from the mount. "La Cobija" gives his back up trying to escape the mount. "La Cobija" tries to stand up but Amangeldy plants him back down with several strikes. Amangeldy peppers Ruy with several shots to the face. The round comes to an end.
