Round 1 Dennis Johnson hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Amaechi fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Johnson. "Pickle Juice" takes the back of Johnson who works for a kimura. "Pickle Juice" pulls his arm out of the hold and push Johnson away. Kenneth Amaechi stuffs a shot from Dennis and hits him with an outside body shot. Dennis gives up on the takedown and pulls guard. "Pickle Juice" takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Denniss guard. It doesn't pay off as Dennis makes his way to standing. "Pickle Juice" narrowly dodges a cross from "Reckless", but falls catching him in his guard. Kenneth Amaechi powers out sweeping Dennis Johnson with pure strength. Kenneth Amaechi is now in side control. Dennis Johnson takes a few knees to the body while under Amaechis side control. Kenneth throws his knee into the ribs of Dennis Johnson. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 "Reckless" winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Johnson connects with a right that puts Kenneth off balance tumbling to the mat, as Johnson towers over him. Dennis cannot find an opening to pounce. The ref brings Kenneth Amaechi back to his feet. Kenneth attempts a takedown but slips, and Dennis Johnson backs away. Dennis Johnson is standing over Kenneth. Dennis Johnson attempts to drop a fist on Kenneth, but misses and lands in his guard. "Pickle Juice" attempts to lock an omoplata, but "Reckless" is able to muscle his way back to the guard. Kenneth Amaechi gives up guard avoiding a powerful hammer fist. He now has half guard. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Both fighters begin to exchange Dennis Johnson catches Kenneth with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Kenneth gather himself. Kenneth says he is ok and the fight continues. Dennis Johnson circles Kenneth, mixing jabs with body shots. "Reckless" executes a single leg giving him the back of "Pickle Juice". Johnson tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. "Pickle Juice" slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. "Pickle Juice" hits an uppercut to the head of Dennis followed by a hard hook. Kenneth Amaechi is brought to his back by a well executed takedown from Johnson. Johnson now has side control. The bell signals the end of round 3.
