Simmons connects with a hard jab as Russell attempts a wide outside hook. "Gene the Mean" dives in for a takedown but the momentum of the attempt ends in a scramble back to their feet. Simmons gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. "Bob Ross" lands a series of heavy punches forcing Slater to roll to his back, giving "Bob Ross" mount. Russell punishes Slater Simmons with a series of strikes from the mount. Rick Russell grabs and arm and swings over for a tight armbar. Slater taps out.
