Round 1 Hae Dang Hwang fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing Sara Umeki to the cage. Sara Umeki swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. Umeki starts to lock a triangle. Hwang postures up and starts to stand up. Umeki lands a stiff upkick, slumping Hwang back into her guard. Hae Dang Hwang stands up with "Shiddens" still holding guard. As "Shiddens" releases her guard Hae Dang Hwang spins to a kneebar but it is too shallow. Hae Dang Hwang takes couple of shots to the head. The fighters scramble to standing position. Both fighters begin to exchange Sara Umeki catches Hae Dang Hwang with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Hae Dang Hwang gather herself. Hae Dang Hwang says she is ok and the fight continues. Hae Dang throws a few jabs at Sara that miss the mark. Hwang wraps around Saras waist, and drags her to her back, taking side control "Shit SR" wraps the arm of Sara Umeki behind her back and traps it. "Shit SR" pounds away with shots to the face. Umeki sweeps over Hwang and quickly obtains mount position. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 A trip to the ground allows "Shit SR" to move into the guard of Sara Umeki. Sara Umeki is caught off guard by a kneebar attempt from Hae Dang Hwang. Sara Umeki struggles out of the lock and attempts to scramble. Hae Dang Hwang is too quick and lunges forward to take half guard. Sara Umeki tries to slip her leg out to get full guard, but is having difficulty. Hae Dang presses her foot onto the thigh of "Shiddens" to get her own foot free. She successfully releases her leg and moves to side control. Hae Dang Hwang throws her knee into the ribs of Sara. Hwang works for a kimura but Sara defends well. Hwang changes grip to a key lock while shifting to north south position. Hwang releases the lock and switches to a north south choke but Sara twists out and scrambles to her feet. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Sara Umeki fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Hae Dang. Hae Dang Hwang lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Sara Umeki takes the back of "Shit SR" who works for a kimura. Sara Umeki pulls her arm out of the hold and push "Shit SR" away. Umeki takes down Hwang, but remains standing over her. Umeki stands over Hae Dang, works her way through her open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Hae Dang is able to grab an arm and pull Umeki into her guard. Hae Dang Hwang attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. A couple of powerful body shots forces Hae Dang Hwang back to the cage. "Shiddens" swims to double underhooks. Hae Dang Hwang cannot stop "Shiddens" from stepping back and taking her to the floor. Hae Dang attempts an armbar. Sara Umeki time a spin perfectly landing a strong overhand as she works her way into "Shit SRs" guard. Umeki keeps her head down in the chest of "Shit SR" to avoid any submission attempts. Umeki leans up and lands some short punches before lowering back down. Round 3 is finished.
