Round 1 Golias attempts a striking combination, but Denny Lapointe forces the clinch. Golias receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Denny. Denny escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Denny Lapointe blocks a strong high kick from Benedito Golias and counters with a devastating left hook. Denny Lapointe connects with a brutal kick to the liver of Benedito who falls to the ground. Denny Lapointe waves him back to his feet. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Lapointe parries Beneditos jab and lands a liver shot that buckles Golias. Golias rolls to his back with Lapointe standing over him. Denny lays into Golias with some stomps. Golias can't handle it as the ref stops the fight.
