Round 1 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Brooks places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Kohaku Otake drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Brooks sets a guillotine choke but Kohaku Otake slips out at the last moment. Kohaku Otake is now caught in guard. Len connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 "SD" eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Len Brooks. Kohaku Otake narrowly dodges a cross from Brooks, but falls catching him in his guard. Brooks drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. "SD" sinks a kimura, but cannot finish. He settles for a switch into mount. Kohaku secures his position. Kohaku secures his position. Round 3 Otake connects with a series of punches forcing Brooks into a clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Len escapes the clinch and creates some distance. "Garth" keeps "SD" at a distance with some well timed jabs. The fighters circle each other. Kohaku is staggered by a jab to the chin. Kohaku takes down Len Brooks, but remains standing over him. Kohaku Otake lays into Brookss thighs with some well timed kicks while Brooks is grounded. The round comes to an end.
