Round 1 Albright throws a cross that easily dodged by Torben Meira. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Torben drops down and thrusts forward with a textbook double leg takedown. Ray Albright attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Torben narrowly dodges a cross from Ray Albright, but falls catching him in his guard. Torben lands a stiff elbow while on his back. Torben begins to work the rubber guard. Meira attempts an armbar from the bottom, but Albright slips out at the last moment. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Torben keeps Ray at a distance with some well timed jabs. "Python" is staggered by a jab to the chin. Albright is staggered by a jab to the chin. Ray snaps back the head of Torben with a stiff jab. Albright circles Meira, landing jabs and crosses at will. Meira snaps back the head of Albright with a stiff jab. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Ray fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing Meira to a corner. Meira swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. A couple of hard outside strikes opens up Torben Meiras guard and Albright is able to move to half guard. Albright is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Ray Albright punishes "Python" with a series of strikes from the mount. Torben Meira gives his back up trying to escape the mount. "Python" carefully protects himself from Ray Albrights strikes. Ray Albright attempts to lock in a rear naked choke, but Torben rolls into to mount to cleverly avoid it. The round comes to an end.
