Round 1
Roy is staggered by a jab to the chin. Roy throws a cross that easily dodged by Ed. Ed fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Roy. Roy attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Ed pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. A single-leg attempt is well defended by Roy Perry. Ed stands up, lifting the leg of Roy Perry and executing a trip takedown. Ed takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Roys guard. It doesn't pay off as Roy makes his way to standing. Lee narrowly dodges a cross from Roy Perry, but falls catching him in his guard. Lee sets in an omaplata, forcing Roy Perry to roll through, giving Lee side control. Perry takes a few knees to the body while under "Grimmss" side control. Ed Lee throws his knee into the ribs of Roy. Round 1 is finished.

Round 2
Roy Perry throws a cross that easily dodged by Ed. Ed Lee narrowly dodges a cross from Perry, but falls catching him in his guard. Roy Perry tries to pass guard but "Grimms" stops him with a well timed punch. Lee sinks a kimura, but cannot finish. He settles for a switch into mount. "Grimms" maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Ed Lee secures his position. Round 2 comes to a close.

Round 3
Ed attempts a striking combination, but Roy Perry forces the clinch. Roy receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Ed. Roy is in the clinch with Lee, and changes levels for a beautiful double leg takedown. "Grimms" begins to work the rubber guard. Roy tries to pick up Lee for a powerbomb, but Lee releases his guard and ends up in stand up. Lee lands a quick elbow, cross that floors Roy. Roy keeps "Grimms" at a distance with some well timed jabs. Perry connects with a series of punches forcing "Grimms" into a clinch. Lee works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Ed Lee is on the receiving end of an elbow from Roy Perry opening up a cut. The ref stops for the doctor to take a look at it. The doctor calls the fight.
