Round 1 "The Honey Dipper" is on the receiving end of a good punching combination from James Lundy. Lundy sends "The Honey Dipper" to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. "The Honey Dipper" attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Lundy parries Homers jab and connect with a cross. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. A strong elbow forces Homer Rogers to lose his balance and fall to the floor. Lundy attempts to drop a fist on Homer, but misses and lands in his guard. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Rogers circles James Lundy, mixing jabs with body shots. Homer Rogers circles James Lundy, mixing jabs and leg kicks. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. While tied up, Homer Rogers is met with a hard uppercut. James connects with a right that puts Rogers off balance tumbling to the mat, as James towers over him. James Lundy attempts to drop a fist on Homer Rogers, but misses and lands in his guard. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 James circles Homer Rogers, keeping him at bay with quick strikes. Lundy slips a cross from "The Honey Dipper" and lands jab cross to the body. Rogers grabs for a clinch but James Lundy grazes him with an uppercut. Rogers staggers back, then surprises James Lundy with a powerful superman punch. Homer Rogers is hit with a hook and a shovel punch and stumbles backward. Lundy explodes forward with a superman punch that drops Homer Rogers to the canvas. The bell signals the end of round 3.
