Round 1
"says" connects with a right that puts Dory off balance tumbling to the mat, as "says" towers over him. Simon drops a huge strike to Dorys chin, landing into his guard. Simon Jodoin attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. Dory slips out of it at the last moment. Simon drops a few strong punches, opening up Dorys guard, giving him a chance to pass to mount. Simon Jodoin maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Simon Jodoin telegraphs his motions for an armbar, but Phillips gives up his back to stop the attempt. Simon Jodoin lands a series of heavy punches forcing Phillips to roll to his back, giving Simon Jodoin mount. Phillips shifts his head and hips to keep "says" off balance and unable to land strikes.Round 1 comes to a close.

Round 2
Jodoin connects with a strong right hook. Simon Jodoin throws a cross that easily dodged by Dory Phillips. Simon executes a single leg giving him the back of Dory. Phillips rolls back into being mounted. Dory Phillips pulls "says" close to avoid a flurry of strikes. Simon secures his position. Round 2 is finished.

Round 3
Simon Jodoin takes a punch and goes to the mat, Dory pounces into side control. Simon Jodoin recovers quickly. Phillips slides his knee across the body of Jodoin and takes full mount. Simon shifts his head and hips to keep Dory Phillips off balance and unable to land strikes. "says" gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Dory Phillips peppers Jodoin with several shots to the face. Dory sets in a body triangle, breaks Simon down, and stretches his back. Simon taps out.
