Round 1 White snaps back the head of Sid with a stiff jab. Sid Russell eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Dave White. Dave White connects with a series of punches forcing Russell into a clinch. Dave White escapes the clinch and creates some distance. "Flash" narrowly dodges a cross from White, but falls catching him in his guard. Dave takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Sid Russells guard. It doesn't pay off as Sid makes his way to standing. Round 2 Dave White fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Russell. "Flash" places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Dave dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with "Flash" standing over him. Sid attempts to drop a fist on Dave White, but misses and lands in his guard. Dave White goes for a kimura from the bottom, but Sid Russell slips out at the last second. Sid Russell tries to pass guard but Dave stops him with a well timed punch. Dave White shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. Sid attempts to pass Daves guard, and does so, but receives multiple strikes in the attempt. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 "Flash" eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Dave. A sloppy scooping ankle block is pulled of by Dave White. Sid Russell is able to pull him into his guard. Sid Russell shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. An heel strike attempt is dodged by Dave White and he traps "Flashs" extended leg to move to half guard. Dave White tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Sid tries to slip his leg out to get full guard, but is having difficulty. Sid tries to scramble out of half guard, but Dave takes his back during it. Round 3 is over.
