Round 1
The fighters circle each other. Dory Phillips eats a strong cross as Toao Romero moves into the clinch. "The Golden Gun" lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Toao Romero places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Romero works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Toao Romero decides to abandon the clinch by pulling guard and bringing Dory with him. Round 1 comes to a close.

Round 2
Toao Romero starts to put on the pressure, forcing Dory back into the corner. Toao Romero takes advantage and clinches. From the clinch, "The Golden Gun" hurls Phillips over his hips dropping him hard to the mat. Romero lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Toao Romero slides his knee across the body of "4Runner" and takes full mount. Toao Romero maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Dory attempts to escape mount but has no luck. The bell signals the end of round 2.

Round 3
Toao keeps Dory at a distance with some well timed jabs. Dory Phillips eats a strong cross as Toao Romero moves into the clinch. Toao drops down and thrusts forward with a textbook double leg takedown. Toao attempts a huge overhand right but Phillips bucks back and switches Toao into mount. Round 3 comes to a close.
