Round 1 Ole Hughes lands a solid kick to the front leg of Lima. Hughes circles Relson, landing jabs at will. Relson Lima is staggered by a jab to the chin. Relson Lima circles Ole Hughes, mixing jabs with body shots. Ole Hughes lands a outside leg kick that causes Relson to back up. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Relson fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Hughes. Ole Hughes places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Ole Hughes attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Lima pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Lima connects with a right that puts Ole off balance tumbling to the mat, as Lima towers over him. Lima attempts to drop a fist on Ole Hughes, but misses and lands in his guard. Lima takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Oles guard. It doesn't pay off as Ole makes his way to standing. Relson stuffs a shot from Ole and hits him with a hard hook to the temple and pushes him to take his guard. Lima dodges a few strikes from Hughes and cuts him open with a couple of powerful elbows. Lima passes through Oles guard into mount. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Ole Hughes narrowly dodges a cross from Relson Lima, but falls catching him in his guard. Lima pushes down Oles leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Relson Lima is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Ole Hughes shifts his head and hips to keep Lima off balance and unable to land strikes. Relson telegraphs his motions for an armbar, but Hughes gives up his back to stop the attempt. Relson peppers Hughes with several shots to the face. Relson lands undefended strikes to the side of Hughess head. The ref stops the fight.
