Round 1 Jim Bailey loses his balance from a well timed strike, and is awkwardly taken down by Bell for the mistake. Bell has side control. Luis slides his knee across the body of Jim Bailey and takes full mount. Bailey shifts his head and hips to keep Luis Bell off balance and unable to land strikes. Jim Bailey gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Bell tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Jim rolls back into being mounted. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Bailey eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Bell. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Bailey attempts to grab the plum but is tripped to the floor by Bell who lands in his guard. Luis Bell takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in "Jimmys" guard. It doesn't pay off as Jim Bailey makes his way to standing. Bell narrowly dodges a cross from Jim Bailey, but falls catching him in his guard. Luis Bell lands a stiff elbow while on his back. Round 3 "Jimmy" eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Bell. Luis Bell stuffs a shot from Bailey and hits him with an outside body shot. Bailey gives up on the takedown and pulls guard. Bailey lands a stiff elbow while on his back. An heel strike attempt is dodged by Luis and he traps Jim Baileys extended leg to move to half guard. Luis Bell tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Luis slams his knee into Baileys ribs. Jim Bailey tries to scramble out of half guard, but Luis takes his back during it. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
