Round 1 Jared lands a hook to the body. Sanders dodges a jab and throws a knee to the midsection of Ashton. Jared is hit with a hook and a shovel punch and stumbles backward. Ashton explodes forward with a push kick that puts Jared on the canvas. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Jared Sanders keeps "Jive Turkey" at a distance with some well timed jabs. Jared fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with "Jive Turkey". "Jive Turkey" dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Jared Sanders standing over him. Sanders lays into Ashtons thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Scott does so. "Jive Turkey" parries a jab but is caught by a strong leg kick. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Ashton Scott throws a short elbow at Sanders. Ashton Scott drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Jared Sanders sets a guillotine choke but Ashton Scott slips out at the last moment. Ashton Scott is now caught in guard. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Ashton is on the receiving end of a good punching combination from Sanders. Jared lands a strong outside leg kick and follows it up with a jab-cross combo. Ashton Scott keeps Jared at a distance with some well timed jabs. Jared is cut open under the eye by a standing elbow strike. Jared Sanders fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with "Jive Turkey". Round 3 is finished.
