Round 1
Taylor circles Ogiwara, landing jabs at will. Christian Taylor circles "Ground Zero", mixing jabs and leg kicks. Noboru Ogiwara throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Taylor puts Noboru Ogiwara on the mat giving his back up. Noboru tries to explode out the backdoor but Christian Taylor sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. Noboru falls flat to protect himself. Noboru Ogiwara starts to wiggle out of back control, Taylor lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Christian Taylor connects with a strong right hook. "Big Nasty" takes a punch and goes to the mat, "Ground Zero" pounces into side control. "Big Nasty" recovers quickly. Round 1 is finished.

Round 2
Christian Taylor ducks and weaves through a quick combo from "Ground Zero" and knocks him back with a shovel punch to the jaw. Noboru Ogiwara takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Ogiwara circles Taylor, mixing jabs and leg kicks. "Ground Zero" ducks and weaves through a quick combo from "Big Nasty" and knocks him back with a shovel punch to the jaw. Taylor throws a cross that easily dodged by Noboru. Ogiwara circles Christian, mixing jabs with body shots. The round comes to an end.

Round 3
Ogiwara fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing Christian to a corner. Christian swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. Taylor attempts to transition to the butterfly guard but Noboru Ogiwara is too quick and takes half guard. Ogiwara is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Noboru Ogiwara splits Christian Taylors nose open with a well timed punch. "Big Nasty" gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Noboru Ogiwara peppers Christian with several shots to the face. Christian tries to explode out the backdoor but Noboru sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. Christian falls flat to protect himself. Round 3 is finished.
