Round 1
Shane circles Lundy, landing jabs at will. "Sugar" keeps Lundy at a distance with some well timed jabs. Lundy takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Lundy moves in to press the action, but Evans lands a heavy back kick. James Lundy weaves through a jab-cross combo but is met with a strong knee. James is cut open by a standing elbow strike. The ref stops the fight. The doctor take a look at the cut and determines James can continue. The bell signals the end of round 1.

Round 2
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Shane Evans places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Lundy escapes the clinch and creates some distance. James throws a cross that easily dodged by Shane Evans. "Sugar" throws a cross that easily dodged by Lundy. James Lundy circles Shane, landing jabs and crosses at will. James Lundy takes down Evans, but remains standing over him. James Lundy drops a huge strike to Shane Evanss chin, landing into his guard. The bell signals the end of round 2.

Round 3
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Shane directs the head of Lundy leading to a stiff knee to the face. Shane grabs the plum and pulls Jamess face towards a powerful knee which is blocked. Shane lets go of the hold and lands a hook. Lundy takes down "Sugar", but remains standing over him. James drops a huge strike to Shanes chin, landing into his guard. James takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Shanes guard. It doesn't pay off as "Sugar" makes his way to standing. Shane narrowly dodges a cross from Lundy, but falls catching him in his guard. James dodges a few strikes from Shane Evans and lands an elbow followed by a hammerfist. Lundy passes through Shanes guard into mount. The round comes to an end.
