Round 1 Kohaku connects with a series of punches forcing Preston Bryant into a clinch. Preston receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Kohaku. Preston Bryant attempts a takedown from the clinch, but "SD" pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Kohaku snaps back the head of Preston with a stiff jab. Preston Bryant takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Bryant snaps back the head of Kohaku Otake with a stiff jab. "SD" takes down Preston, but remains standing over him. "SD" attempts to drop a fist on Preston Bryant, but misses and lands in his guard.Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 The fighters circle each other. Bryant keeps Kohaku Otake at a distance with some well timed jabs. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Bryant escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Preston Bryant fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing "SD" to a corner. "SD" swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. Preston takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Otakes guard. It doesn't pay off as Kohaku Otake makes his way to standing. Preston narrowly dodges a cross from Otake, but falls catching him in his guard. Preston Bryant sets in an omaplata, forcing Kohaku to roll through, giving Preston Bryant side control. Preston Bryant attempts to mount, but gets a few punches from Kohaku Otake for his troubles. "SD" gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Kohaku Otake takes down Preston Bryant, but remains standing over him. Kohaku Otake attempts to drop a fist on Bryant, but misses and lands in his guard. Kohaku attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. Preston Bryant slips out of it at the last moment. Kohaku drops a few strong punches, opening up Preston Bryants guard, giving him a chance to pass to mount. Preston shifts his head and hips to keep Kohaku off balance and unable to land strikes. Kohaku telegraphs his motions for an armbar, but Preston Bryant gives up his back to stop the attempt. Bryant eats a few stiff shots from Otake, and rolls giving mount to stop the ref from ending the fight. Bryant attempts to escape mount but has no luck. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
