Round 1 Chayo throws a cross that easily dodged by Otake. Otake narrowly dodges a cross from Chayo, but falls catching him in his guard. Chayo tries to pass guard but "SD" stops him with a well timed punch. Mendoza eats a stiff punch to the face, and is then swithced, giving Kohaku full mount. Kohaku Otake maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Kohaku Otake secures his position. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 "The Knot" throws a cross that easily dodged by "SD". Chayo connects with a series of punches forcing Kohaku into a clinch. "SD" is in the clinch with Chayo, and changes levels for a beautiful double leg takedown. Otake takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Chayo Mendozas guard. It doesn't pay off as Mendoza makes his way to standing. "SD" narrowly dodges a cross from Chayo Mendoza, but falls catching him in his guard. Kohaku connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. "The Knot" tries to pass guard but "SD" stops him with a well timed punch. "SD" sinks a deep kimura, but Chayo slides out. This gives "SD" the chance to switch to half guard. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 "SD" throws a cross that easily dodged by Chayo. Chayo keeps Otake at a distance with some well timed jabs. Kohaku Otake throws a cross that easily dodged by Chayo. Otake snaps back the head of "The Knot" with a stiff jab. "The Knot" snaps back the head of Otake with a stiff jab. Kohaku Otake connects with a right that puts "The Knot" off balance tumbling to the mat, as Kohaku Otake towers over him. The round comes to an end.
