Round 1 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Branden throws a solid knee to the jaw of Diaz. Branden breaks away from the clinch while delivering a knee. Collins connects with a sweeping kick at the leg of Rodri Diaz. The fighters circle each other. Branden Collins eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Rodri Diaz. Diaz attempts a takedown but slips, and Collins backs away. Collins is standing over Diaz. Branden Collins kicks at the thighs of Diaz. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 "Asystole" fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing Collins to a corner. Collins swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. Rodri Diaz attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. Collins slips out of it at the last moment. Branden Collins attempts a sloppy triangle attempt allowing Rodri the chance to pass to side control. Branden Collins takes a few knees to the body while under "Asystoles" side control. "Asystole" slides his knee across the body of Branden and takes full mount. Rodri Diaz secures his position. "Asystole" maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Branden circles Diaz, landing jabs and crosses at will. Branden Collins lands a strong outside leg kick that buckles Rodri. Branden is staggered by a jab to the chin. Rodri snaps back the head of Collins with a stiff jab. Diaz weaves through a jab-cross combo but is met with a strong knee. Round 3 is over.
