Round 1 Vorobyov eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Hayes. "Drago" attempts a takedown, but cannot finish it. Mitch Hayes takes advantage of the moment taking side control. Mitch Hayes lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Iov Vorobyov gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Mitch Hayes slides off to the side of Iov Vorobyov and lands several heavy knees into his ribs. Before he can lose the position, Mitch Hayes switches back to full back control. Mitch tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Iov throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from "King Slayer" puts Iov on the mat giving his back up. "King Slayer" peppers Iov with several shots to the face. Iov starts to wiggle out of back control, Mitch lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Hayes wraps around Vorobyovs waist, and drags him to his back, taking side control Hayes slides his knee across the body of Iov Vorobyov and takes full mount. Hayes maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. "Drago" attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Iov fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Mitch Hayes. Mitch lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Mitch Hayes recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. Mitch Hayes presses forward and grazes Iov with a combo. Iov wants none of the stand up and clinches with Mitch Hayes to then savagely throw him down to the ground. "Drago" attempts to drop a fist on Hayes, but misses and lands in his guard. Mitch backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. A couple of powerful body shots forces Mitch back to the corner. Vorobyov swims to double underhooks. Mitch cannot stop Vorobyov from stepping back and taking him to the floor. Mitch is hit with a series of powerful punches while utilizing the guard. Mitch tries to slide out of guard, but a scramble ensues. Iov ends up mounted by Mitch. Round 3 comes to a close.
