Round 1 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Orenstein places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Teo Orenstein takes Eliot Gagnes back standing. Eliot Gagne isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Teo Orenstein lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Eliot Gagne to release. A jab from Eliot Gagne is blocked and a cross is returned by Teo Orenstein. Gagne slips a cross from Teo and lands an uppercut to the liver. A wild hook from Eliot is ducked by Orenstein who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Eliot Gagnes legs are wobbled by a strong hook to the temple then a shovel punch to the jaw. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Eliot Gagne drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Teo sets a guillotine choke but Eliot Gagne slips out at the last moment. Eliot Gagne is now caught in guard. Orenstein backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Eliot Gagne continually moves away from Orenstein, who stalks him patiently, occasionally landing a jab or cross. Eliot is dizzied on his feet from a furious punching sequence from Teo Orenstein. Eliot Gagne throws a powerful left hook, but is met with a strong jab from Teo. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Eliot gets double underhooks, and unleashes unanswered knees to the midsection. Eliot Gagne attempts to pull guard, but slips, putting him on the ground, and with Teo standing over him. Orenstein attempts to drop a fist on Gagne, but misses and lands in his guard. Eliot shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. Eliot Gagne locks a triangle but Teo Orenstein defends well. Eliot Gagne decides to let go of the hold. Eliot Gagne connects with several chop shots from the bottom. Gagne backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Round 3 comes to a close.
