May 2485. Mateo challenged French Sambist and Boxer Leverett Pelletier. During the 1 round Mateo got into the cage by Pelletier who was able to upload a barrage of strikes leaving Kosar bloodied out cold in the corner.

April 2485. Mateo second fight was against American Jiu-Jitsu and Martial Arts practitioner Joseph Mehman. By University of Sambo coach Valery Gorestnih Mateo lost first 2 round and won 3rd but judges saw an Unanimous Decision win for Mateo Kosar improving his record to 2-0.

March 2485. Mateo signed with Taj Mahal Palace Fights. He debuted against Canadian Kickboxer Bubba Couture. It was a close fight but Mateo Muay Thai background helped him win the fight by Split Decision.

March 2485. Mateo Kosar joiner Usiversity of Sambo in the age of 18. Mateo arrived from Croatia to the University on the advice of his coach. Having experience in Muay Thai and Jiu Jitsu, Mateo is also planning to improve in Sambo to become a more versatile fighter.
