Grivas was granted the name "The Caucasian Eagle" after winning his first title and defending it successfully. The Caucasian Eagle, or Aetos Kaukasios, was a huge, brass automaton eagle sent by Zeus to eat the regenerating liver of the Titan Prometheus who was chained to a peak in the Kaukasos Mountains for stealing fire from the gods. The origins of the great eagle differ. He may have been created by Hephaestus or spawned by the drakaina Ekhidna. The Eagle is now a constellation called Aquila
