Quite an unfortunate turn of events, as Collins was forced to retire at his peak. After years of mediocrity, Collins rose quickly to the top echelon of the EFC on the strength of his elite KO power. He retired as a top 30 pound for pound fighter, and one of the tops in his division, without ever receiving a title shot in the game's premier organization.
