Akihiro was born on the outskirts of Hiroshima Japan. His father owned and operated a farm that he acquired cheap shortly after Akihiro was conceived. Akihiro was born and raised on the farm that grew primarily Japanese pumpkins. These are similar to American pumpkins but a little smaller and less satisfying to the taste. At the age of 13 Akihiro was playing in the pumpkin fields after his karate practice and while kicking at some dirt he accidentally opened up a pocket of radiation.

This is rare but radiation has been known to happen in the area and is left over from the bombing of �little boy� which had occurred on Monday August 6th 1945. Instantly Akihiro was blasted with atomic radiation. For the first couple days there was no reaction, but after a couple of weeks he began to notice some changes going on. He was told by his father that as a young man he would go through changes and so he thought nothing of it, until he noticed that he was unusual.
