Jun 2161: At 39 years of age, Coni Castro retired. Coni was the 1st fighter to be admitted to the camp by co-owners and founders Pedro Trigo, Will Long, Paul Hall and Robert Mendoza, who saw something special on him. And they weren't wrong: Coni ends with a 30-16 rec, 3 UFL and 2 A-1 LHW titles. He earned the achievment of being the 1st fighter to have a Tier 5 title (A-1, Oct 2159). For all this he gets in our HALL OF FAME.

Oct 2159: Coni Castro defeat Richard Sherk in a fight for the A-1 LHW title. Winning a belt is always special, but this one is more: Coni Castro won the Academy's first Tier 5 org title ever!!! So, besides the belt, Coni holds now an Academy achievement. Congratulations and thank you for this wonderful day!

Jun 2154: Coni's title contender was Adam Twitty, from respectable camp Wild Hungarians. Hard fight that was only won via decision. It's Coni's 3rd UFL LHW title.

May 2154: No chance for Lotc and BotB LHW champion Rudy Acker. Coni was furious for losing his title and Rudy was the victim. An armbar in early Rd 1 destroyed Rudys dream to become an UFL champ. Coni is couting 2 titles in 3 months! We hope he'll get many more.

Mar 2154: What a day!!! Will Long returned to UFL and won back his title, in the MW division. Coni won his 1st career title in UFL LHW!! Beautiful. Coni's subbed vet champion Thiago Sousa (from Camp Vale) early in Rd. 2, via armbar. It was good win for Coni against a more rounded fighter. With this win Coni starts to establish himself in the MMA world.
