NEWS: May 2181, Cru "The Mega City Cobra" Lapointe, has put an end to his losing streak. Lapointe defeated Matheus Ribeiro in the 1st round via Submission (North South Choke). Lapointe has looked the best he has looked in a long time. Post fight Lapointe assured the fans, he was coming for the Lord of the Cage heavyweight title.

NEWS: April 2181, Cru "The Mega City Cobra" Lapointe, has now lost his last 3 fights. After losing a razor close decision to Cal Lundy, Lapointe had this to say: "I don't know whats next for me. I keep letting my team down. I'm gonna come back better than ever after this performance. Thanks everyone for your support." Only time will tell how Lapointe can bounce back from this losing streak he is on.

NEWS: January 2181, Cru "The Mega City Cobra" Lapointe is back! After an impressive win against Pepe Gonzalez, Lapointe said "I feel back to my old self. I took this fight on short notice, but i'm back. I feel the best i've ever felt". Perhaps a title shot is next for the former champ. Only time will tell.

NEWS: December 2180, Cru "The Mega City Cobra" Lapointe, has faced back to back loses. Lapointe lost to Bill Jackson, after losing his title to to Sean Wilson back in July. Post fight Lapointe said "I don't know what to do next. Those were both fights I should have won... i'll have to go home and think about what I need to do". Only time will tell if we'll see The Mega City Cobra in the cage again.

NEWS: May 2180, Cru "The Mega City Cobra" Lapointe has beat Ron "The Hammer" Rogers to capture the BotB Heavyweight Championship. Lapointe and Rogers first met in November 2179. Rogers won that fight, and Lapointe blames the loss on having only 2 days notice to taking the fight. Finally the rematch was here, and Lapointe dominated Rogers, and won via Submission (Armbar) in the 2nd round. Many people are calling it the submission of the year. A very impressive win for The Mega City Cobra.

NEWS: April 2178, Cru "The Mega City Cobra" Lapointe shocked the world by stepping in as a last min replacement to fight Richard Carter in UFL. We then learned Lapointe's suspension was reduced to 6 months, and that Cru signed with UFL. Lapointe stopped the 9 fight win streak of Carter, with a win via Decision. Rumor has it Cru Lapointe might get a title shot in the near future after that impressive return to MMA.

NEWS: September 2177, Cru "The Mega City Cobra" Lapointe was stripped of the BotB Heavyweight title after testing positive for PEDs for the 2nd time in his career. Lapointe has been suspended for one year. All that Lapointe had to say was "well, we will see how I feel after my suspension. I may be back if I get an offer that's worth it. Who knows? I don't know what is next for me at all right now". Only time will tell if we see Lapointe in the cage again.
