Round 1 Bradley strikes with a straight front kick. "The Creationist" fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Pelletier. Pelletier drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Avel sets a guillotine choke but Pelletier slips out at the last moment. Pelletier is now caught in guard. Buturlin attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Bradley Pelletier dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with "The Creationist" standing over him. Buturlin lays into Bradley Pelletiers thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Pelletier does so. The bell signals the end of round 1.

Avel Buturlin breaks away from the clinch while delivering a knee. Bradley is sent crashing to the mat by a powerful right hook. Avel drops a huge strike to Pelletiers chin, landing into his guard. Two heavy strikes from "The Creationist" dazes Pelletier. "The Creationist" crawls over to side mount. Pelletier takes a few knees to the body while under Avels side control. Bradley gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Bradley Pelletier is rocked by a standing elbow strike. Avel Buturlin presses forward landing a couple more strikes, but Bradley Pelletier survives the onslaught with well timed blocks. Buturlin moves in to press the action, but Bradley lands a heavy back kick. Avel Buturlin fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Pelletier. Bradley escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Bradley is sent crashing to the mat by a powerful right hook. Buturlin lays into Pelletiers thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Bradley Pelletier does so. The bell signals the end of round 3.
