Round 1 Ward circles Kit Cherry, mixing jabs with body shots. A double-leg shot is stuffed initially by Kerry Ward, but Kit Cherry is able to muscle through for a takedown. Kerry Ward dodges some ground strikes from Kit Cherry, and sends a few back of his own. Kit defends a triangle attempt, throwing Wards straight leg over his head and makes a move for side control. "Ravaged by Aids" is able to hold him to half guard. Kerry Ward tries to slip his leg out to get full guard, but is having difficulty. Cherry slips out of half guard and into side control. Kerry Ward gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Kerry Ward starts to wiggle out of back control, Kit Cherry lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Ward throws a cross that easily dodged by Cherry. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Cherry fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Kerry. Kit works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. While tied up, Kit is met with a hard uppercut. A looping right hook from Kit sends "Ravaged by Aids" to the mat. Kit Cherry attempts to drop a fist on Kerry Ward, but misses and lands in his guard. "Ravaged by Aids" backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. "Ravaged by Aids" is hit with a jab and then taken down with a strong trip takedown. Kerry is hit with a series of powerful punches while utilizing the guard. Kerry attempts an armbar. Kit Cherry time a spin perfectly landing a strong overhand as he works his way into Kerrys guard. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Cherry receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Kerry Ward. Ward grabs the plum and tosses Cherry to the ground. Kerry Ward attempts to drop a fist on Cherry, but misses and lands in his guard. Cherry connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. Kit connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. Kit goes for a kimura from the bottom, but "Ravaged by Aids" slips out at the last second. Cherry dodges some ground strikes from Ward, and sends a few back of his own. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
