Round 1 Buzz parries a jab but is hit with a powerful knee to the midsection. Pelletier connects with a sweeping kick at the leg of Hideaki Sunada. Hideaki Sunada lands a left hook, only to follow up with a strong kick to the ribs. Sunada lands a hook to the body. Pelletier takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Buzz throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Sunada puts Buzz on the mat giving his back up. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Buzz moves in to press the action, but Hideaki lands a heavy back kick. Pelletier is cut open by a standing elbow strike. The ref stops the fight. The doctor take a look at the cut and determines Pelletier can continue. Buzz parries Sunadas jab and lands a liver shot that buckles Hideaki. Hideaki rolls to his back with Buzz standing over him. Buzz Pelletier lays into Hideakis thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Sunada does so. Hideaki is caught square on the jaw putting him to the canvas, Buzz Pelletier prepares to pounce, but Hideaki gets his bearings just in time. Buzz kicks at the thighs of Sunada. "Robo" lays into Hideaki Sunadas thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Hideaki does so. Hideaki Sunada weaves through a jab-cross combo but is met with a strong knee. Buzz connects with a right that puts Hideaki Sunada off balance tumbling to the mat, as Buzz towers over him. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Hideaki parries "Robos" jab and connect with a cross. Sunada ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Pelletier to the mat, and his back. Hideaki peppers "Robo" with several shots to the face. Buzz Pelletier slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. Hideaki snaps back the head of "Robo" with a stiff jab. Pelletier lands a hook to the body. Buzz gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. The bell signals the end of round 3.
