Round 1 Leon is staggered by a jab to the chin. Leon Renaud traps Griffin in a corner, landing a few strong punches to the face and body. Cory Griffin is cut open by a standing elbow strike. The ref stops the fight. The doctor take a look at the cut and determines Cory Griffin can continue. Leon slips a cross from Cory Griffin and lands an uppercut to the liver. Cory snaps back the head of Renaud with a stiff jab. Cory fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing Leon to a corner. Leon swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Leon Renaud lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. "Gambit" fakes a shot attempt from the clinch, opening Cory Griffin up for a flurry of hooks. Cory Griffin lands a strong outside leg kick but is hit with a heavy counter hook. Leon Renaud is staggered by a jab to the chin. Leon Renaud lands a hook to the body then a straight cross to the sternum. Griffin is sent crashing to the mat by a powerful right hook. "Gambit" lays into Corys thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. "The Tripod" does so. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 "Gambit" sends "The Tripod" to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Cory goes for a kimura from the bottom, but "Gambit" slips out at the last second. Leon Renaud passes through Corys guard into mount. Griffin gets pummeled by the fists of "Gambit". Griffin gives up his back in an attempt to escape, but doesn't quite make it. "Gambit" peppers Griffin with several shots to the face. Cory starts to wiggle out of back control, Renaud lets him escape putting them both on their feet. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "The Tripod" attempts to grab the plum but is kept off balance by Leons strikes. While tied up, Cory is met with a hard uppercut. "The Tripod" is hit with a hook and a shovel punch and stumbles backward. Leon explodes forward with a superman punch that drops "The Tripod" to the canvas. "Gambit" lays into "The Tripod" with some stomps. "The Tripod" can't handle it as the ref stops the fight.
