Round 1
Cloutier circles Buzz, landing jabs at will. "Da Bomb" stuffs a shot from Buzz and hits him with a hard hook to the temple and pushes him to take his guard. Buzz is pummeled by some well timed bombs from John. A can opener from John Cloutier opens up Buzzs guard. John Cloutier lands two quick strikes as he moves into half guard. Buzz Butler tries to slip his leg out to get full guard, but is having difficulty. Butler tries to slip his leg out to get full guard, but is having difficulty. Buzz hips out allowing him to take Johns back. The round comes to an end.

Round 2
John Cloutier fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Buzz Butler. John Cloutier receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Butler. While tied up, Buzz Butler is met with a hard uppercut. Butler is staggered by a jab to the chin. Butler begins to clinch with John Cloutier, but John Cloutier presses out of it burning up quite a bit of energy. "Da Bomb" circles Buzz Butler, mixing jabs with body shots. Butler is sent crashing to the mat by a powerful right hook. "Da Bomb" attempts to drop a fist on Butler, but misses and lands in his guard. The round comes to an end.

Round 3
The fighters circle each other. Buzz stuffs a takedown but is backed into a corner and must slide into guard to avoid being picked up. John tries to pass guard but Buzz Butler stops him with a well timed punch. Buzz works for a triangle but John throws Buzzs straight leg over his head and makes it to half guard. "Ester" tries to slip his leg out to get full guard, but is having difficulty. John Cloutier opens a cut over the eye of "Ester". The doctor takes a look at it, and says he's okay to continue. Butler tries to scramble out of half guard, but "Da Bomb" takes his back during it. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
