To Joe John, I gave Biek the title shot because he was the highest ranked fighter in the division, even above me. To me, that made him the top contender. Had I known he was going to quit anyway, I likely would have given the title shot at the next highest ranked contender. If that was you, then you'd have got the title shot instead.
