Aug 2154: The last of our best retired. At 34 and 12 years after his 1st MMA pro fight, Lacroix hanged his gloves. Amazing fighter, he was the 1st STRIKEFEST Academy champion and still the only one to dispute an EFC belt. He holds 3 STRIKEFEST titles and a 43-33 record. He gets into Academys Records for being the best ranked fighter ever, in #61, overcoming Hank Elkins (#108) and being the first fighter to reach the top #100. Lacroix's retirement points to the end of the Academy.

Mar 2153: Finally we got a fighter of our camp in the big show. Lacroix got challenged by veteran fighter Jerry Wiltsie, from mythical We Die Constantly Camp.If you know Quick, you know he wouldnt say no to a chance like this, even if he was a fighting a #4 ranked fighter, 3times GLORY and 3times EFC HW Champion. He got subbed early in the 1st Round but he got to throw his punches.Not even knowing that our camp was shutting the doors made Quick quit. Nothing better than this for our camps finale

As it was said before, Nabuco challenged Lacroix for the title. Lacroix accepted it but only to submit him in Rd.1. So our Academy went from a 0 SF title to a 3 SF title, all thanks to Lacroix! We wish Lacroix would stay in SF, but unfortunately and as in all sports, money counts and the athletes need it... Lacroix just signed a 6 fight contract with EFC.

Oh times of Glory for this canadian fella. After the bliss of winning his and our camps first SF title, George didnt give a chance to Otto Harris - fighting off the worlwide renowned Beast Mode camp - submiting him at Rd. 2 via submission (rear naked choke). With a rank of #71, George already is our best fighter ever. Word is veteran Reinaldo Nabuco will be the next contender for the title.

Glorious day! After the announced closing of the Academy we had no expectation for a moment like this, but Lacroix is a natural. At 32, Georges conquered the camps first STRIKEFEST title! It was a hard fight, with Georges being the underdog, against Henrique Mereu, fighting off one of the best camps in the World, iCE MMA Academy. Wonderful moment for this fighter as he is the current STRIKEFEST World HW Champion!! Well never forget this.

Quick defended his title against Lolo Ramos. He wasnt able to finish the fight but the decision was unanimous. That makes him a 3 time WC HW Champion, wich allowed him a contract with LEAP.

Georges wasnt that "Quick" to get his first title. It took him 16 fights to be the WC HW Champion, with a hard win over Luis Demers. With only 25 years of age, we could have here a promising fighter for the Academy.
